After the break.....

Hello Friends,

It is more than three months that I am posting something here at my blog. In fact yesterday when I logged into my blog, I found my lonely blog screaming for some attention.

Actually it was not that i was very busy doing some important assignments or I didn't wanted to write anything....To be honest after each exhausting day when I was lying down in bed, I used to think about writing something....Something about ongoing events around me, but couldn't do so, and the lone reason for this long break from blogging was that I didn't feel like writing.....
I felt out of groove.....
Out of touch with reality.....

Just to let you all know that the only thing I did during this break is "moved into a new house".... And you all may agree that "moving can be and in most cases is a big step for most of us"..... It is a change in the environment around us..... Almost everyone love to move into a new house. Its exciting to meet new friends and neighbors, add fresh paints and create some do it yourself decorations......

Butttttttt moving is also one of the hardest thing to do....You get a strange feeling when you are about to leave a place because you will not only miss the people around you but you will also miss the person you are now at this place.....because you will never be this way ever again.....

Heyyyy....Are you still there with me...??? I know this post has become all about me and probably little boring as well. But at times we can choose to be little self indulgent....isn't it..???
Moreover I didn't know how to start after this long break......

To be honest, I am scared to look at my blog, fearing all the fellow bloggers to have given up on me...And there is nothing more scary than a blogger without supportive and kind fellow bloggers, who actually give their valuable time to read and comment....

I just wish n pray that you all are still there with me and reading "Apniboli" same way as you were doing before this unusual break.......

Will be back soon...
Take Care....
irfan.

  1. Hi Irfan
Welcome back. No we did not give up and knew you would turn up sooner or later. Changing to a new house can completely throw you out of gear and be very unsettling and your absence is therefore understandable. I have moved 11 times in 30 years so I can appreciate the hardships involved(and the joys too!)
Good Luck in your new house. Hope you have now settled in comfortably.

  2. Hey Irfan,

Nice to see you back in action. Wow moving definitely brings a lot of new stuff however the pain in moving is more important as you've said. Lets leave it aside for the moment and see the best part of the whole post - you writing and sharing your thoughts again. Wish to read more .. Keep writing.

  3. Hi Dear,

So happy to read you finally after a long long break. Missed you and your write ups a lot!
I agree, leaving and moving is not that easy as by the passage of time we get emotionally attach to everything ,everyone around. We have to be practical at the same time.
Don't worry, we all bloggers have a special place for you in our hearts :-)

    Keep sharing
Best wishes to you and your family

  18. Welcome back, Irfan ji ! In fact we- if I may talk on behalf of others - never gave up on you , rather were worried what was amiss. We had been looking desperately for your beautiful posts. I too shifted home in January and as you say , it was a sort of make over and move on for me also apart from the old company that had to be left behind. The frequency of my posts has also reduced. Change as they say is the law of life and most of the time good also . I am reminded of a Hindi poem :
"jyon nikal kar badalon ki god se,
thi abhi ik boond kuchh aage barhi........"

---and the drop became a pearl as it entered the mouth of an oyster. !

Hope for more and more posts from you !

I think, it is okay to take a break and give things priority...I can sense though that the blog was indeed at the back of your mind :) Haina?

  20. To talk about what you want to talk and when you want to talk is the freedom of blogging and you have used this freedom to a tee.

And now as you are back...you can see that your followers have not left you.

  23. On the contrary Irfan. I do wish to read more about you. I think the sincerity lies there because you are talking about your feelings and not all men could honestly do that :)

I hope you thrive well in your new place. I do understand how it is to be in a different place apart from where you grew up and have led a more comfortable life. But as you wrote in your recent post, life is a journey, so keep on :)

Welcome back! I look forward to your reflections in life.
