Pyaar Huaa..Iqraar Huaa.......

Imagine one beautiful evening with pit-a-pat of of rain drops....two lovers under an umbrella...walked hand in hand singing out their love for each other....

I am sure most of you still remember Raj Kapoor and Nargis immortalised song "Pyaar Hua Iqraar Hua" in "Shree 420"...Hsrat jaipuri soulful lyrics along with Shamkar jaikishan's music give us goose bumps each time we hear it even after so many years...The soothing voices of Manna dey and Lata Mangeshkar still linger in our minds...

In fact the iconic Raj Kapoor-Nargis song has provided a platform for romance in hindi cinema over the last 56 years....and the bollywood film makers have paid their tribute to the song by picturising the same scene in their different movies....

I am leaving you here with some of the pics paying tribute to the famous song......"Pyaar Huaa Iqraar Huaa...."

Lamhe(1991)...Anupam Kher and Sridevi dressed up as Raj kapoor and nargis, trying to placate an ardent lover of black n white films....

"Patther ke Phool"(1991)... Salman Khan and Raveena Tondon dressed up as Raj Kapoor and Nargis had a peppy romantic number "challiya...."

'Rab ne Bana Di Jodi' (2008)... while watching a movie with SRK, the heroine dreams on "Pyaar Huaa" set up while Kajol as Nargis accompanies SRK to pay tribute to the Raj Kapoor era....

'Ready' (2011)... With Salman Khan's item number character dheela, now pyaar hua iqraar hua gets a new meaning all together...

.

And it continues with this one.... ;)

Sorry, I can't....

Couple of days back when I asked one of my friend...." Why I am not seeing her around at my blog these days....any thing wrong????"..... She said politely, "No...nothing wrong...but you know....I just don't like reading  those serious stuff every time...I mean all the time you keep mentioning about Politics, Corruption etc....so..you know..if  there is some thing about Nature...Love etc....you know....."

And I could not say any thing beyond...."yaa..I can understand...buttt..." and then changed the topic of discussion but could not continue because was just not able to come out of the hang over of her reply, and my idle mind whispered to me..."Irfan, if you want to continue with couple of comments you are getting, then try something better, go for some romantic stuff..."

Since then I am desperately trying to pen down a Love story..... :)

Initially when I started thinking about the heroine of my  Love story, the first image came into my thought was of my beloved wife and finally I ended up with a thriller, because in the end of the story either the guy was getting killed by the Lady or the lady by the guy..... :(

Believe me friends, I have tried during the day....with full capacity of my patience in the evening...even I dreamt at night, but sorry to say. in the end it never happened to be a love story....

And i could not understand, why I am not able to pen down a romantic stuff, when I have spent most of the time of my life being charmed by the beautiful faces of my friends from the other gender.... :)

hhmmmm...is it, that there is no Love left in me....or may be I am no more a Love material..... :(

I think, I have to continue with the same serious topics of politics, corruption etc. till I  get some amount of Love back, at least into my thoughts if not in action...and till then  you all will have to bear with me and keep reading my same serious and boring stuff realated with Politics, Corruption, Terrorism etc...

why not him too...

After going through the recent post of Mr. Bikramjeet Singh, a very popular blogger..... I was thinking that after knowing all this "Reality", why do we all try hard for those many years to become a doctor or an Engineer....After all what we need in our life......
Life time supply of nutritious food....
Clothes....
Good medical care.... and
Security of our life....

And when I see the latest happenings in our country then realize that any youth can get all those basic needs of life for his life time, just by killing dozens of innocent people at some public place in any big city like Mumbai....while doing this all he has to take care is to ensure that he don't get hit by the Police firing, rather some how manage to get arrested by our police....if he is able to do that, he can live his remaining life with all those things needed for life time.

And if you don't believe me then ask Ajmal Amir Kasab, this young man from an ordinary family is living his life in a city like Mumbai, with all those basic things needed to live.

Mumbai, where getting accommodation is every average Indian's dream, where the most moneyed live and work day and night.....but Kasab's career planing has assured him that he get a big room to live in a central place of Mumbai....Its a city where people are scared to trust any one... A city where train could blow up by the bombs planted by militants.....But this young man need not bother all this because he has got our best men for his security, even the food is first tested then served to him, to avoid poising....

And why not, after all this is the country which believes in "Atithi devo Bhavo"(Guest is like God)....and we pay our hard earned money as tax to keep the country's most hated man safe, secure and well nourished...

( if Osama can be killed without trial for 9/11, why not Kasab for 26/11 )

(PS... fortunately our youth know that apart from these needs of life its the social respect n acceptability  which is most important, so they always try hard to become Engineer, Doctor, etc......and in turn give pride to their parents.....)

"Food of Thought...."

While surfing the news paper, I got stuck at one news, it was like "The union food and consumer minister is looking into the ways of curbing food wastage at wedding and other such social events"... and one of the main idea to minimize the food wastage according to him is "the one dish rule at the wedding...."

So friends if the ho'nble minister has his way, you may have a wedding invitation with a line at the bottom stating.... "According to government orders guests will be served only one dish...."

Now imagine if you are in a Gujarati wedding you may get only "Oondhiya with Rotlas", and if you happen to be in Bihar it may end up with "Litti-Chokha" or a bowl of "Sattu"....and don't get surprised if you find only some Italian dish at the Congress Party meet....

Well, it may sound funny but looking at the food wastage in marriages and other social functions, I think its not a bad idea if government finally make it a rule of serving only one dish in such occasions...

One may say that in our culture its rude to serve guest only one dish, even when we eat at home we have more than one dish...but i think, what ever may be tradition or culture, having heaps of left overs after wedding certainly amounts to insensitivity in a country that is 67th on the list of 122 poorest countries...where according to reports about 40 million people go hungry every day.
But the important question is, in a free country like ours where we don't even like to follow the simple traffic rules....where our Government can't force people to have only two kids...how can the ho'nble Minister expect our people to serve one dish at weddings???

"God's Own Man...."

Because of some recent happenings, my idle mind is just thinking... "Does believing in "GODMEN" changes our life for better????"

Well, if believing in these Godmen changes our life for the better then one must go and worship any of them.....Buttttt if believing in them can't improve things in our life then i feel that we should stick to the  belief and basics of our religion and should not believe in any such thing which surpasses our own understanding of life.....

What I personally feel that because of the circumstances and the situation in our day to day life we start feeling our self down and in the long run it developes some sort of negativity in our thoughts, and thats when these Godmen comes into our life with a ray of hope towards positivity of life...

I think most of the time our feeling and sense of respect towards these godmen is similar like what we have for some of the celebrities from Bollywood and from the cricketing arena specially when they are at the peak of their career...

Personally for me there is no logic to the Godmen concept....but i know sometimes its the illogical that works... Now one may say that if its illogical then why so many of intellectuals and famous personalities are seen believing these Godmen????....

What i personally think is that people who are more famous, are more unstable... Every thing changes around them so fast.... and time n again they are in constant pressure to prove themselves and in that run they are ready to do just any thing and its the fear of losing that make them to believe in such things.

Those Tiny Things....

Since last couple of days I was experiencing little problem while riding my motor bike and was planning to get it serviced but some how could not do it because of my lethargic attitude and busy schedule....and  yesterday while coming back to home my bike finally decided not to co-operate with me any more...So I was struck  mid way, as there was no mechanic available near by and I had to drag my bike for about two km to reach  service centre...and after pulling bike for two km one can very well imagine my condition...

Any ways......The mechanic took only ten minutes to set it right and I was on the way to my home, while I was riding, my idle mind was thinking that for not sparing only ten minutes I had to face this situation, so we should not over look these little things if want to move smoothly in our day to day life....

In fact, no matter how we apply to the larger picture, no matter how hard we toil over all, ultimately its the small things we ignore that let us down....we get rapped in the knuckles for the little undone, rather than noticed for the vast we have done.....

The most carefully executed project could equally end up in disaster for the protagonist because of the minutest details that was left to the chance...So sometimes little things can be most irritating.

Now my idle mind is thinking that when did I actually took a big decision....while choosing career, in choosing spouse, the decision to have children.... but on the other hand  I take so many smaller decisions every day that changes the course of life and I don't even notice them.

Actually most of the time we do not pay attention to the little things that have great impact on our lives.... Perhaps the difference between successful and unsuccessful some times is just that the former understand the importance of paying attention to the smaller details and improving day by day.

No one becomes an over night success, they reach their top only after paying attention to the little things for years.....

"Sometimes when I consider what tremendous consequences come from little things....I am tempted to think....there are no little things."
