Bete.....whom do you love more mummy or Papa...???
Bete....Your mummy loves you more or Papa....???
heyyyyy...hold on, I am not asking it to you all....
In fact these are the typical questions that has been always asked by our over-affectionate aunties when we were kid. These over-affectionate aunties never think that how can a child love one of his/her parent more than the other.....or how the love of one of his/her parent can be more or less than the other.
But when it comes to parental love, then mother's love is something which is always on the leading side, may be because fathers are very cool in showing their love and affection that they have for their kids.....but we all know that fathers are no way less when it comes to love their children.
You may agree that somehow or other mothers seem to be hogging the spotlight whenever its Mother's day. In fact its an open secret that we all spend days n weeks for planning a prefect Mother's day gift, whereas for Father's day we don't seem to put much effort into it....and being a father I can tell that even Dads don't mind this, perhaps they are too cool for this.
Anyways, today is Father's day.....and I am missing my Dad a lot...
I would like to thank my dad for all he did for me and want to say that "so what if you are not here with us physically, we always feel your presence around us....I will never forget the values n morals you taught me to live this life, which would not have begun without you......"
Happy Father's day to all of you.....
I know its very painful for people like me whose fathers are no more here with us.....Big hug to all of you......
Take care,
irfan.

Irfanuddin,
ReplyDeleteRead 3 posts or rather 2 posts and viewed beautifully captured photographs in 3rd post. Success of marriage depends upon not finding right partner but on being one, as told by another blog friend here. How many years have you crossed? Happy Anniversary. I agree that fathers are rather on quieter side of parents.
Take care
we are happily together since 13 yrs Sir :)
Deleteand thanks for being so kind and going through all previous posts....
Regards...!!
My friend,
ReplyDeletePersonally, mother's day or father's day is everyday for me. Love has no calender dates. Thanks for sharing.
yes, totally agree with you here but if it gives a nice feeling to parents and kids both then there is no harm in making a day specially for it and by making that we are not going to forget them for remaining 364 days...isn't it....
Deletethanks for being so regular here sir..:)
happy fathers day sir ji. n m agree what did andy sir said:)
ReplyDeletethank you Madm'm....:)
DeleteMy father and mother, both are special in this word since I am there very special son. Yes, Fathers are very cool and he teaches us more the world knowledge and since moms are home makers for long are full of bond and fond. But both the relationships are beautiful and I wish u very Happy Father’s Days :)
ReplyDeleteLove your post!
yes, both the relationships are beautifull indeed...thanks for the wishes Jeevan :)
DeleteI too love both my parents, and during the specific days meant for them i do write something specific about them. We always remember our parents, and we sure do not need special days to remember them, but do so, following the western culture, and it is a nice culture, so why not.
ReplyDeleteHappy Father's day!
yaa....no matter from where it comes, if it is nice and gives us a feel good thing then no harm in following that....
DeleteThank you :)
My father is also not here anymore, but I a what he made me..it was he who taught me more about ethics values and life..
ReplyDeletethe important thing is to keep on following those values n ethics taught by them and doing that we can pay the best tribute to them....
DeleteTHank you.
I get mushy with dad posts :P I'm glad that you openly shared your sentiments. My dad jokes a lot but we never get to that 'cheesy' level ~ maybe, now that he's getting old, he does.
ReplyDeleteWe celebrated this day with him. I do feel blessed that he's still around.
Prayers to those whose dads are already in Heaven.
Lots of love to all the great dads out there!
yaa, being with parents is really a blessing and we realise it more when they are no more with us....
DeleteThank you :)

ReplyDeletehappy Fathers day
its the need of the hour Sir....
DeleteTHank you.
I never celebrated either of the said parents days coz back then all this wasnt popular and plus we spent not that much time in front of the tellys or had a net.But nowadays we are bombarded with these new concepts in all forms of things.Yeah,we were asked the same question by everyone and my answer back then and even now has been my dad, eventhough he beat the crap out of me when I messed up.Have no idea why I didnt share the same for my mom.But yes, mom's day is much more popular than dad's,but if your child appreciates all that you do everyday in any tiny form, its a blessing indeed.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you totally here Suzy.....
DeleteThank you.
Each parent has its own place in a child's life so is Father's Day too:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit Sir...:)
DeleteHave a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
